Your support is important to our work at Ellie's Canine Rescue & Rehome. There are many ways you can contribute towards our causes, and every little bit that you give goes a long way in helping us fulfill our mission to help and save as many dogs possible.
Financial donations
Running a rescue is hard not just mentally and physically but financially. We rely on the donations to continue our work.
We desex, microchip, vaccinate, flea and worm, every dog/puppy for adoption along with covering any vet bills and food costs. If you would like to make a financial contribution to our cause and help save amazing dogs, our bank account is: Ellie’s Canine Rescue, ASB, 12-3478-0067646-00
Typical costs associated with rescuing and rehoming our dogs include:
- flea and worm: $35
- vaccinations: $90 - 150
- microchip: $86
- food: $100 +
- desex: up to $600 for a bitch spey
- other vet bills: $100 + (includes bloods, dentals, fracture repairs)
- training/behaviourist: (if needed) $300+
- Miscellaneous: $300 + (crate, harness, collar, contact tags etc.)
Regular donations
Donations go 100% towards running our rescue. We are all volunteers and do not have a shelter so have there minimal overhead costs (mostly fuel and maintaining our rescue vehicles). We would absolutely love regular donations. You can set up a weekly or monthly direct debit to our bank account - Ellie’s Canine Rescue, ASB, 12-3478-0067646-00. As a registered charity we can provide donation receipts allowing 33% tax refunds on donations as a registered charity. Just send us an email at [email protected].

Food donations
We are always in need of food donations. We also provide food for families in the community in need.
